WorkSafe Counselling — Support After a Workplace Injury
A workplace injury changes things. The physical recovery gets attention — but the psychological impact often doesn't. Anxiety, sleep disruption, loss of confidence, grief over what's been lost — these are real, common, and treatable. And you don't have to navigate them alone.
As a registered WorkSafe Victoria counselling provider, I offer professional thraputic support to injured workers and their families as part of the WorkSafe claims process.
What Is WorkSafe Counselling?
WorkSafe Victoria recognises that workplace injuries affect more than the body. Approved counselling is available to eligible workers as part of their claim — meaning professional mental health support can be accessed with no out-of-pocket cost to you.
Sessions focus on helping you process the psychological impact of your injury, rebuild confidence, and move forward — whether that's returning to work or adjusting to a new reality.
What We Work On
◆ Anxiety, depression, and psychological distress following injury
◆ Sleep difficulties and physical pain adjustment
◆ Loss of identity, purpose, or work capacity
◆ Return-to-work concerns and confidence rebuilding
◆ Relationship and family strain related to the injury
◆ Grief and adjustment to changed circumstances
Who I Work With
I work with injured workers across Victoria, in person in Melbourne and via telehealth Australia-wide. I also support family members where eligible under a WorkSafe claim.
My Approach
I'm a PACFA Registered Clinical Counsellor with 18+ years of experience. My approach is practical, grounded, and person-centred — focused on what actually helps you move forward, not just managing symptoms.
